Last week, we posted reports on the cross-compatibiliy of the music instruments for future Guitar Hero and Rock Band titles. Sony officially confirmed that the musical instruments for Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Band 2, and Rock Revolution, will be cross-compatible. In addition, the microphones for SingStar will also be cross-compatible. This is great news for those of us who are waiting for the release of the new titles, but aren’t willing to buy the peripherals in order to play the games. With this new cross-compatibility feature, I would be able to buy one of the new titles with the new game peripherals and just buy the other two standalone titles. Having the ability to cross-operate the peripherals would help me save money in our economy and at the same time I will be able to ROCK OUT!!!
