Criterion Collection has some of the greatest movies ever made under their belt and they always work hard to present the movies as best they can. We reported that Criterion Collection will be coming to Blu-ray very soon a while back which is good news for any movie buff. According to a member on the AVS forums that the Criterion Collection is using a Sony Playstation 3 in their high-def home theater displays to show off their cool new Blu-ray releases. It’s no surprise as the PS3 is being used more often than a stand-alone Blu-ray player to play HD movies. It just goes to show that the PS3 is a powerful machine not just for gaming, but for home theater systems as well. If it’s good enough for the folks at the Criterion Collection then it’s good enough for us!
