Sony set the official launch date of their PlayTV tuner for the Playstation 3 for September 10th. The add-on for the PS3 is said to be able to record TV shows, even while playing a game. The device supports dual DVB-T tuners and is set to launch in Europe in September, then Australia and New Zealand early 2009. No word on a launch date for us Yanks unfortunately.
