There are rumors spreading around the blogs that the next Playstation 3 firmware update, version 2.50, may include the feature of capturing a screen shot and saving them onto your Playstation 3 hard drive. The exact details about how this may be done have yet to be released. Some PS3 video games already have this ability embedded into their video games, such as Metal Gear Solid 4 and WipeOut HD. If this rumor is true, then this ability would make life a lot easier for bloggers, game reviewers, and gamers in general. Just having the ability to cherish our gaming moments and make these moments immortal is exciting.
