According to news reports, this coming Wednesday, August 27th, will be the first day that the Playstation 3 will be Gold Boxed. The identities of each gold box will be unveiled one at a time. Here is more details from Amazon.
• At 12:01 AM PST the first deal will be the Gold Box Deal of the Day. Its special discounted price will be available all day only on Wednesday, August 27 (or until we run out.)
• Starting at 6:00 AM PST, the second deal will be featured as a Lightning Deal.
• Each of the remaining deals will also be Lightning Deals that follow at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM PST.
• Discounts on each deal will be available only while supplies last.
So if you are interested in purchasing a Sony Playstation 3, mark your calendars and have your alarm clocks ready. This is a deal that no one should miss!
