Check out this article from Gamespot about Mirror’s Edge and its impending release!
To date, EA subsidiary DICE has been synonymous with the Battlefield series of military first-person shooters. This holiday season, the studio is branching out with the release of Mirror’s Edge, a first-person action-adventure game that casts players as an acrobatic courier leaping across rooftops in the employ of a contraband messenger service.
Today EA and DICE announced an exact release date for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of the game, saying they would ship out November 11. A PC version of the game is also in development, but it won’t be released until “later this winter,” according to the publisher.
Gamers interested in seeing how the Mirror’s Edge first-person perspective works in practice will soon be able to check out a downloadable demo from the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store. The demo will include a tutorial, a taste of the single-player story mode, and for those who obtain a code by preordering the game, a time trial mode.
